Steve is of counsel to the Firm and has been admitted to practice law in Georgia for over 20 years. His practice focuses primarily on bankruptcy representation of creditors, estate planning and administration, business transactions, as well as trust, probate and commercial litigation. Steve received his Doctor of Jurisprudence from the George Mason University School of Law and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations from the University of Virginia. He has been Staff Attorney to Judge Charles B. Mikell of the Superior Court of Chatham County, Georgia and District Counsel to U.S. Representative Jack Kingston of the 1st Congressional District of Georgia. Steve also was a teacher for five years at Benedictine Military School, serving as Chairman of the Social Studies Department and as a coach of cross country and track & field. While at UVA, he was a member of the track team a competed in the middle distance running events. Following law school, Steve competed as a semi-professional triathlete and represented the United States in several world championships in Europe, Australia and New Zealand. Steve obtained the rank of Eagle Scout with the Boy Scouts of America. He is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and the Savannah Bar Association. Steve is admitted to practice law in the U.S. District Courts for the Southern, Middle and Northern Districts of Georgia as well as all State of Georgia Courts.
