Randy is the Managing Partner of the Firm and has over 30 years of experience in the general representation of private clients, family businesses and physician groups. His work for private clients focuses on wealth transfer planning, asset protection, trusts, probate and estate administration. Randy works with family businesses and their advisors to develop succession plans and other strategies to achieve often complex and competing family, business and tax-saving goals. Randy’s consultation to physician groups concerns structuring of employment and compensation arrangements for the physicians and related investments in office buildings, surgery centers and ancillary health services, and joint ventures with hospitals. Randy is a past president of the Savannah Estate Planning Council and is listed in Best Lawyers in America in Trusts & Estates. He is licensed to practice in Georgia and Florida. Randy received his Juris Doctorate, cum laude, from the University of Georgia in 1978 where he also served as Managing Editor of the Georgia Law Review. He holds an M.B.A. in finance and a B.A. in economics from the University of Rochester.
